Does RayCraft Write work with Blazor WebAssembly or Auto? The tested target is Blazor Server with interactive server rendering. The editor sends HTML and files to the server for cleaning, conversion and the library of files, so it needs a server circuit. Other render modes have not been tested.

Why is the editor empty or not editable? The page is not interactive. Add @rendermode InteractiveServer to the page (or to the router). Until the editor is built in the browser, the server draws the filtered Value.

The connection drops when I paste or upload. Raise the SignalR limit: .AddHubOptions(o => o.MaximumReceiveMessageSize = 20 * 1024 * 1024).

How do I make the editor look like my site? Give ContentCss the style sheets of your site; the content area and the preview use them. The editor itself takes its colors from the variables --rte-* in rte.css; override them in your CSS. Theme switches between Light, Dark and Classic.

Where is the content saved? Nowhere by itself. The editor binds Value; you store it. Revisions and comments are kept by IRteRevisionStore and IRteCommentStore, which are in memory by default: provide your own implementations to keep them.

Can I keep the HTML as Markdown or JSON? Yes: GetMarkdownAsync and GetJsonAsync, and the reverse conversions in Rte.Processing. Features that Markdown cannot hold (colors, merged cells, columns) are lost when you save as Markdown.

Can several people edit one document at the same time? The editor has the client side (editor.collab: remote cursors, presence, applying remote changes) and an interface, IRteCollaboration. You connect a CRDT such as Yjs to it. A ready-made server is not part of the package.

Why are equations and diagrams shown as source text? They are drawn when KaTeX (or MathJax) and Mermaid are on the page. Load them in your layout and the blocks render.

Can I get a PDF? The export menu opens the print dialog of the browser ("Save as PDF"). There is no server PDF renderer in the package (Export and import).

Which browsers are supported? The editor was tested in Chromium-based browsers. Firefox, Safari, touch devices, IME composition and real speech devices have not been tested yet.

How do I add a button or a command? With a plugin: registerPlugin("name", editor => { ... }) (Features). Add the button name to Options.Toolbar.

How do I hide a feature? Leave its button out of Toolbar, turn blocks off in Blocks, or leave a plugin out of Plugins.

How do I limit the length? Limits.MaxTextLength and MaxHtmlLength show the count in the status bar; the editor does not block typing. Check CheckLimitsAsync() or TextTools.CheckLimits before you save.

Is the HTML safe to show to other users? It is filtered on the server by ContentFilter (Security). Filter again when content comes into your system by another way.

Which languages are available? Ten (Languages).

Does the package need other RayCraft packages? No. It depends only on the ASP.NET Core shared framework.

What happens when my entitlement ends? Versions you already received keep working under the terms they came with (License).

I renewed, but still see a license banner. Download the new rte.license from your account and replace the file where the old one was (Installation); the check is offline, so the application only sees the new file after you deploy it.

What counts as one instance? One production deployment: in practice, one public domain, named in the license (Installation). A web farm of several servers behind a load balancer that answers on that one domain is still one instance, and moving it to new hardware needs nothing from you, because the license is not tied to any computer. A second public domain (a second product, a second brand) is a second instance.

Where do I report a problem? To RayCraft support. Send the version of the package, the browser, and the smallest HTML or steps that show the problem. Report security problems privately.
